Dennis Lee Clark, 80, of Liberty Township, departed this world on December 17, 2023. Born on September 11, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Walter and Elizabeth (nee Reeves) Clark.
Dennis cherished his family, spending time coaching and supporting his kids sports and activities and later in life attending his grandchildren’s events. Beyond family, he was a veteran of the US Navy, visiting many countries during his service, and also found joy in pursuits like golfing, bowling, and fishing. For over two decades, he bowled alongside his wife, Cecelia, in a mixed couples league at Princeton Bowl, and he actively participated in a men’s bowling league with the Elks Lodge #93, where he also served as a devoted member and trustee.
His affection for Florida, illuminated by numerous family beach vacations—many featuring fishing off the Longboat Pass bridge and piers, and enchanting visits to Disney World—evolved into treasured traditions. Blessed with grandchildren, he continued to relish journeys to Florida and beyond, savoring each adventure with his family.
Dennis, known for his kind, caring, hard-working, and easy-going soul, leaves behind a void that will be keenly felt by many. He was always willing to help and support friends and family whenever there was any need. His warmth and generosity touched countless lives, creating lasting memories that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
