Donald B. Mallinger, Ii

Donald B. Mallinger II, 51 of Mason, passed away on April 17, 2022. Born to Donald B. and Deborah (nee Cole) Mallinger on April 30, 1970, in Dayton, Ohio.

Don enjoyed life on the water and outdoors, including camping, boating, kayaking, and vacations on the beach. He was an unwavering Cleveland Browns fan from the time he was a child, loved OSU football and the Cincinnati REDS and attended many games with his daughter, son, Dana, friends, and family. In his earlier years he played lots of sports including baseball, football, soccer, and wrestling in high school and in the Army.

A proud veteran in the United States Army, a volunteer for Luke 5 Adventures, and faithful worshiper at Grace Chapel in Mason. Don had a strong faith was a devoted father, son, and partner to Dana.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard Mallinger and Beatrice Pike, Roger and Aloha Cole, Uncle Casper Gall, and daughter, Loren Mallinger.

Don is survived by his parents, Donald and Deborah Mallinger, son, Brandon Mallinger, loving partner, Dana Saxton, brother, Chris Mallinger, Uncle Brad and Aunt Mary Cole, Aunt Denisa & Uncle Steve Fox, as well as cousins Chelsea, Courtney, Cassie, Stacy, Emily, Maria, Paula, Paul, George, and Betty.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, April 23rd from 9:00-10:30AM with a service at 10:30 am, officiated by Pastor Jeff Greer all at Grace Chapel, 406 4th Ave Mason, OH 45040. Following the service, the family invites you to join them for a celebration of life gathering at the Warped Wing Brewery, 5650 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040 from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m.

An interment will take place on Monday, April 25th at 10:00AM, officiated by Pastor Trey Starnes at Dayton Memorial Park, 8135 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH 45414.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Don’s name to Luke 5 Adventures at Grace Chapel.
