Edwin L. Hunter

Edwin L. Hunter, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the age of 78. He was born Wednesday, October 27, 1943 in Wayne, Michigan to Philip Ray and Lucena (nee Bunting) Hunter.

An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, Ed married the love of his life, Peggy J. Wortz, on Friday, February 2, 1968 in Michigan. He was dedicated to his work and retired as a Food Broker with the Kroger Co. after more than 20 years of service. Ed was meticulous with everything. His yard and gardens were beautifully manicured as he would spend hours tending to them. Even his cars were spotless and showroom ready at all times. Ed will be forever loved and cherished.

Edwin was preceded in death by: parents, Philip and Lucena Hunter.

Edwin is survived by: wife of 54 years, Peggy Hunter; daughter, Stacey (Jim) Gibson; grandsons, Jonathan Gibson, Nathan Gibson, and Jeremy Gibson; siblings, Rena (Jerry) VanPatten, Paul (Diana) Hunter, and Kathy (Richard) Shellenbarger; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 10:30 AM in The Stone Worship Center and Auditorium at The Christian Village at Mason, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
