Elizabeth Naster

Elizabeth Naster (nee Abajian), 94 of Maineville and formerly of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Born to Nazareth and Haiganoush (nee Adzigian) Abajian on June 12, 1927, in Highland Park, Michigan.

Elizabeth worked for many years as a secretary in the hotel industry. She lived nearly 35 years in Fort Pierce, Florida and had made some wonderful friends who became her family.

She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, being in the sunshine and planting her flower garden. In her early years she volunteered at the local hospital and spent her free time with her dog.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by her parents, Nazareth and Haiganoush Abajian, her husband Leo Naster and two siblings, Rose Sinanian and Edward Abajian.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving daughter, JoAnne Shahbabian, two grandchildren, Vanik (Jill) Shahbabian and Lev (Hillary) Shahbabian, four great-grandchildren, Sadie, Stella, Sophia and Lyric and two dear friends in Florida, Orette Prendergast and Dave Moberly.

Memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to the American Heart Association or to the SPCA.
