Emanuel J. Dracakis, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, April 1, 2022 at the age of 83.  He was born Friday, December 30, 1938 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to John Emanuel and Erasmia (nee Stavrenos) Dracakis.

Manny married his soul-mate, Maxine N. Trakas, on April 30, 1959 in The Greek Orthodox Church of Columbus, Ohio. Manny attended Staunton Military Academy from 1955 to 1957. He was a member of the Howie Rifle Company which marched in President Eisenhower’s inauguration.   A natural born salesman, Manny never met a stranger.  He enjoyed playing golf, but found true solace in fly fishing and deep sea fishing.  Often referred to as the "bargain shopper extraordinaire", Manny could find a deal on anything and anywhere. He loved to tell jokes and never took life too seriously. He looked forward to spending time with his buddies in the Hellenic Poker Club and with The Order of AHEPA.  Manny will be forever cherished by all that knew and loved him.

Emanuel was preceded in death by: parents, John and Erasmia Dracakis; and a special uncle, Gus Skufis.

Emanuel is survived by: wife, Maxine Dracakis; daughters, Renee (Steve Turpin) Dracakis and Nicole (Christopher) Adams; grandchildren, Ava Turpin, Nicolas Adams, Nolan Adams, and Evan Adams; twin-sister, Rosemary Jianopoulos; and many loving family members and friends.

Family and Friends are encouraged to gather together on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with Words of Remembrances beginning at 3:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
