Emilee Ann Joyner, age 34 of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away unexpectantly April 15, 2020.
Loving wife of Donovan and mommy of Nathan Joyner; cherished daughter of Kevin and Ann Baum; loving sister to Elizabeth Sizemore (David). Emilee greeted her sister Merideth who has already gone home to be with the Lord.
Emilee attended Lakota East High School and graduated in 2003. She attended Taylor University and Miami University where she received an elementary education degree and Masters in Administration. She had a passion for children and teaching and taught in the Lakota Local and Sycamore Community school districts before becoming a stay at home mom. Emilee battled kidney health challenges most of her life and braved hospitals, dialysis, and kidney transplants with a courage and joy that became her testimony of faith. Emilee loved to sing and lead worship at her church where she was an inspiration and had a lasting impact on so many people. Her biggest joy was being mommy to her son Nathan and making memories. Her smile, laughter, humor, and joy were contagious. We know of the Hope that will grant us the privilege once again to see her in a new, healthy, and glorified body.
