Emilia Grace Costa

Emilia (Mila) Grace Costa, 8 months old, passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of her family on Sunday, August 8, 2021. She was born to Carlos and Dena (nee Caralis) Costa of Mason, Ohio, on November 17, 2020.

Mila knew only love in this life. She enjoyed snuggles with her Mommy and Papi, watching her sisters play, having her Yiayia sing to her, and getting baths from her Pappou. She loved going on walks in her stroller, hanging out in her swing, and holding her favorite pink and yellow rattle.

Mila was born with one tiny foot already in heaven, cracking it open a little for the rest of us to feel the light. We have all been changed for the better.

Mila is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Carlos Costa.

She is survived by her parents, Carlos and Dena Costa, two sisters, Annabelle and Olive Costa, paternal grandmother, Eliane Azevedo, maternal grandparents, James and Barbara Caralis, her loving aunts and uncles, Peter (Kendra) Caralis, Katherine (Stephen) Selinsky, Tatiana Costa, and Natache (Luis) Oliveira, and many cousins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 14th from 9:00AM-10:00AM with a funeral service beginning at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity - St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
