Ernest Petrinowitsch

Ernest Petrinowitsch, 86 of Maineville, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, with his family by his side. Born to Josip and Magdalena (nee Bodor) Petrinovic on August 16, 1934, in Yugoslavia.

Ernie worked at Oakley Die and Mold for over 50 years before retiring. He enjoyed anything to do with Cincinnati sports, including the Bengals and the Reds. He loved to watch the games on tv and attend with anyone willing to ride along with him.

Ernie had a love of travel. He enjoyed getting back to his roots in Austria and spending time walking the beaches in Florida. Spending his Birthday with the ones he loved was important to him, celebrating his life and having a gathering made his Birthday one of his favorite days of the year.

Ernie was a member of the Donauschwaben Club of Cincinnati. His Austrian traditions were important to him. He danced often with a group of friends where they did the polka and waltz. Above everything spending time with family meant the world to Ernie. Having his grandsons visit was a huge highlight to him.

P receded in death by his parents, Josip and Magdalena Petrinowitsch, his sister, Kathi Tossman and first wife, Helen Petrinowitsch.
Ernie is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Evelyn A. (nee Vauhan) Petrinowitsch, son, Harry (Carol) Petrinowitsch, three grandsons, Jason (Lenora), Eric (Cortney) and Bryan Petrinowitsch, three great-grandchildren, Karina, Luca and Micah and his brothers and sister -in -law, Daniel Vauhan, Robert Vauhan and Cynthia Vauhan and his mother-in-law, Waltraud Vauhan.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 9th from 9:30AM-11:00AM with a service at 11:00AM all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Deerfield Township.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ernie’s name to the Parkinson’s Foundation .
