Eugene Caudill

Eugene Caudill, 85 of Mason, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Born to Carl and Susanna (nee Raleigh) Caudill on February 10, 1935 in Jeremiah, Kentucky.

Eugene has been a resident of Mason for 52 years, he graduated from Union High School in West Chester, Ohio in 1953 and later went on to attend MacGyver University.

He was a Gas Operator for CG&E for over 36 years before retiring. A lifetime member of WACS. Avid TV watcher, and devoted mower of the lawn (here’s hoping that heaven has a zero-turn).

Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Susanna, his son, Bruce Caudill, aunt, Hester Rice and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Virginia and Ernie Williams.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dolores ‘Dodo’ (nee Donnelly) Caudill, son, Tim (Sally) Caudill, daughter -in- law, Barb Caudill, six grandchildren, Dan Caudill, Laurie Caudill, Jessica (Byron) Robinson, Jamie (Jenna) Caudill, Christina Mitchell and Jennifer (Will) Hale, ten great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Beverly Allen and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11:00AM in Rose Hill Cemetery, 171 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. In lieu of flowers donations are requested in Eugene’s name to the Hospice of Cincinnati. MASKS are REQUIRED for the service and social distancing will be observed.
