Floene Biedenkopf

Floene S. Biedenkopf (nee: Shearer), 85 of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Born to Willis and Nancy Etta (nee Malicote) Shearer on December 5, 1934 in Clover Bottom, Kentucky.  Floene was an Electronic Assembler for Vickers's for more then 20 years before retiring in 1997.

She enjoyed sewing, crafts and quilting. Floene was an avid reader and loved a nice long walk. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren; they were her pride and joy.

Preceded in death by her parents Willis and Nancy Etta Shearer, her husbands, John Biedenkopf and James H. Freeman, and three siblings, Boyd Shearer, Mary Ethel Palmer and Naomi Shearer.

Floene is survived by her four loving sons, Rick Gilliam, Jeff (Emily) Gilliam, Tim (Debbie) Gilliam and Steven (Krista) Freeman, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, cousin, Linda Patrick and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29th from 9:30-10:30AM with a memorial service at 10:30AM all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Inurnment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton. MASKS are REQUIRED for visitation and service and social distancing will be observed.
