Frederick Uchman

On September 12,2023, Frederick Uchman, loving husband of Kathy and father of two children, Sarah, and Rachel, passed away at age  67 after his several year battle with cancer.

Fred was born in 1956 in Fall River, MA to Emil and Helen (Roszkowicz) Uchman. He received his Engineering degree from Southeastern Massachusetts University in 1977, and worked in the Automobile industry for 41 years in the Detroit area. On July 16 1977 he married Kathy (Pylick), and raised two wonderful daughters.

Fred enjoyed his hobby of woodworking and enjoyed making gifts and toys for others. He also loved vacationing with family, and enjoyed hiking and biking with Kathy. He was known for his quick wit, his whistling, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and Brother Dennis. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, his daughters and their spouses:  Sarah, (Eric), Rachel, (Mark), five grandchildren: Trevor, Alexa, Russell, Ryan, Brooke, his sisters: Sonia, and Sandi, brother and sister in laws, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Monday, September 18, at the Mueller Funeral Home on 6791 Tylersville Rd starting at 9:30 am to be followed by funeral service at 11:00am with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the family or brought to the funeral service to be used for plants/trees for the family as a memorial in their yards.
