Gary Engelbrink

Gary Harold Engelbrink, 75 of Fairfield Township, passed away on August 3, 2023. Born to Harold and Ruth (nee Hornberger) on December 20, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Gary was a deliveryman for many years, after retiring he decided to drive for the Warren County Senior Services, and he loved it. He enjoyed seeing and talking to new people every day. He was a dependable person who could make a friend wherever he went. Gary’s goal daily was to make one person smile.

Gary was a devoted University of Cincinnati Bearcats basketball fan. He could be found in his UC gear watching a game every chance he could. Listening to the REDS on the radio or spending time with his children were just some of his favorite things to do.

Traveling to the beach or to the mountains, if Gary was with his wife, children, and grandchildren he would be happy.

Preceded in death by his parents, Harold, and Ruth Engelbrink.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Judy (nee Proud) Engelbrink, three children, Robert (Jenn), Timothy (Kimberly) and Erin Engelbrink, grandchildren, Izabella, Josie, Parker, Sammy Brooke and his siter, Judy (Jeff) Hayes.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 11:00am at St Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040. Inurnment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason. Reception at the church following the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Cincinnati.
