George Robert Antolik, 77 of Morrow, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Born to John George and Mary Agnes (nee Dzurik) Antolik on June 23, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
George was a 1971 graduate of Penn State University, a veteran serving in the United States Air Force, and went on to work for the next 28 years in Job Services for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
He was a member of Saint Margaret of York Church for the last 16 years, an active member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, and volunteered his time with the food pantry and pancake breakfast. George and Janice were also members of the Seniors Social and Service Ministry with St. Margaret of York and the Young at Heart Club with St Susanna Church.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife, gardening, and woodworking. George was a fantastic cook, loved life and his family, and truly enjoyed watching his two grandsons play sports. Watching professional sports was also one of his favorite hobbies. He was a dedicated fan to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, and a proud Alumni of Penn State University.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Antolik, three siblings, John “Jack” Antolik, Terri Antolik Quashnock and Mary Elizabeth Antolik.
George is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janice Marie (nee Nedrow) Antolik, two daughters, Cristine (Matt) Cravens and Tawnya Antolik, two grandsons, Benjamin and Nicholas Cravens, four nieces, Sonja Jones, Tina Estabrooks, Nicole Hauser and Laura McKenna, two brothers-in-law, Charles “Chuck” Quashnock and Richard (Carol) Nedrow, as well as two sisters-in-law, Nancy Antolik and Betty Forbes. George is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7th from 5:00-7:00pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, April 8th at 11:00am at Saint Margaret the York Church, 9499 Columbia Rd, Loveland, OH 45140. Memorial donations may be made in George’s name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or HART Animal Rescue .
