George W. Teasdale, of South Lebanon, passed away peacefully March 19, 2020 at the age of 73. He was born October 9, 1946 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Richard and Sylvia (nee East) Teasdale.
George married his best-friend and life-long sweetheart, Sandra Hewitt, in 1968 in Suburban Philadelphia. Together, they built a lifetime of memories filled with laughter and love. Family was always important to George. His two children were born in Pennsylvania and soon the family moved to Columbus, OH. George and Sandra moved to Suburban Chicago when the kids were off to college. Later they returned to Ohio in South Lebanon to be close to 2 of his 4 grandchildren.
George was a dedicated employee of Western Electric/Bell Systems/AT&T/Lucent Technologies for 37 years and 3 states. Starting as a phone line installer out of high school and finishing his career as a manager of systems training, with retirement in 2001.
George served as President of the HOA and Handyman for Stone Brook for 15+ years. Truly talented with tools, George created many woodworking pieces for their home and his granddaughter's dolls.
George was preceded in death by: parents, Richard and Sylvia Teasdale, and Howard Williams, Stepfather.
George is survived by: wife of 51 years, Sandra Teasdale; daughter, Kristin (Jon) Bush; son, Jeffrey (Esperanza) Teasdale; grandchildren, Rachel Bush, Adam Bush, Patrick Teasdale and Isabella Teasdale; brother, Richard (Lea) Teasdale; and many loving family members and friends.
