Gregory A. Allison

August 16, 1961 — May 1, 2023

Gregory Alan Allison, 61, of Morrow, Ohio, passed away on May 1, 2023. Born to Carolyn and Donald Allison on August 16, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Greg loved nothing more than his family and the close friends in his life. He was a caring and selfless man whose top priority was the people in his life. Whether it was his loving wife of more than 40 years, his two boys, or his only grandson, nothing made him happier than spending time with the loves of his life.

His last two years were two of the happiest years of his life, as he was graced by the presence of his first and only grandbaby, Armani Allison, who loved him so much. "Grandpa Greggy" would drop anything or travel anywhere to be with Armani, and every moment they were together, Greg smiled from ear to ear and radiated happiness.

Greg was a carpenter by trade and a true craftsman who could build or fix anything. The running joke was that their home of nearly 40 years was always under construction because he was always working on something. He was a simple man who accepted everyone for who they are but when it came to his work, he settled for nothing less than perfection. It was a true reflection of his character.

Preceded in death by his father Donald Allison, Greg is survived by his mother Carolyn Allison, his loving wife of 43 years, Angela Allison, his two boys Gregory "Austin" Allison and Alexander Allison, his grandson Armani Allison, and his older siblings Karen and Lonny Allison. Beyond his immediate family, he was "Uncle Greggy" to all the children whose lives he touched along the way.

Visitation will be held 2 to 4pm followed by Memorial Service from 4 to 5pm on Saturday, May 6th at Sozo Loveland Church at 9781 Fields Ertel Rd, Loveland, OH 45140. A warm meal and a celebration of life to follow.
