Helen Huff

Helen Huff (nee Byrd) , 91 of South Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Born to Millard D. and Bertha (nee Allen) Byrd on July 3, 1929 in Clay County, Kentucky.

Helen worked for over 20 years for Fred’s Mushroom Plant and has been a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon for 15 years.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors, mowing her lawn and in her garden. Helen traveled in her earlier years with her husband Edwin out west and went boating when they could. She loved to entertain her family, cook, and spend time together.

Preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Bertha Byrd, her husband, Edwin P. Huff, and six siblings, Marvin Byrd, Kelly Byrd, Eugene Byrd, Mary Joyce Marcum, Dale Jennings Byrd, and David Chandler.

Helen is survived by her loving siblings, Doris Cockerham, Shana Darrell, Tanya Coomer (Bobbie), Danny Byrd, Connie Chandler, Sherry Whitcomb, Terry Chandler, Kathy Fultz, Jewell Isaacs and Chris Chandler and many nieces and nephews and one special Niece Daley Detchon.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11th from 11:00am-12:00pm with a funeral service at 12:00pm all at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, 505 Mason Road, South Lebanon, Ohio 45065. Pastor David Frasure will be officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Helen’s name to the church directly. MASKS ARE REQUIRED AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED.
