Ivan Manuel Munoz Martinez, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the age of 41. He was born Wednesday, September 17, 1980 in Ica, Peru to Manuel Ivan Munoz Osorio and Ana Maria Martinez Wuffarden.

In September of 2002, Ivan moved to America along with his mother and sister. As fate would have it, this move would lead Ivan to meet the love of his life, Holly Christine Sparks, while Salsa Dancing in Newport, Kentucky. On February 13, 2009, the couple were married. They had three children of their own who brought them both joy. A wonderful father who would do anything for his family.

Ivan had a passion for music regardless of the genre. He loved sharing and discussing music with his friends who he called brothers, especially Jorge (koki) Monge, Jose (Pito) Giacomotti and Alejandro (Ale) Delgado. Traveling back to his homeland also held a special place in his heart to visit his family and friends whom he loved deeply.

Ivan will be forever loved and cherished by all that knew him. Physically his body has left us, but his soul and heart will always be present in all of us who loved him.

Ivan was preceded in death by: father, Manuel Munoz Osorio; aunt, Vilma Martinez De Graziani and cousins, Walter Cornejo Martinez and Giovani Grazini Martinez.

Ivan is survived by: wife, Holly Munoz; children, Alexa Munoz Sparks, Ian Munoz Sparks, and Mathias Munoz Sparks; mother, Ana Martinez Wuffarden; sister, Maria Pia (Jamie Walker) Munoz Martinez; Mother-in- law, Beverly (Phil) Foutz, Father-in-law, Jack (Joan) Sparks, Step-brother-in -law Brian (Hollie) Foutz, Brother-in-law Tyler (Kim) Sparks, Step- sister-in-law Laurie (David) Wethington, Sister-in- law Trisha (Mike) Adkins; nieces and nephews, Ezekiel, Selah, Phoebe, and Naomi Sparks, Abby and Rachel Foutz, Jacob and Jesse Wethington, Ashlynn Falk, Jerrin Scott, and Austin & Sky Adkins; cousins, Enrique, Jorge Eduardo, and Juan Carlos Cornejo Martinez, Luciana and Claudia Martinez Hernandez, Javier, Mariana, Eduardo, and Rodrigo Olazabal Martinez, Augusta, Slivana, and Luis Fernando Martinez Berrios, Sofia, Hernan, and Gino Grazini Martinez, Jorge, Aurelio, and Jose Luis Carcelen Martinez; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2022, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
A second viewing will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM follow by a Mass of Christian Burial (JOIN HERE FOR LIVESTREAMING) at 11:00 AM at
St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, Ohio 45011.

En Septiembre de 2002, Ivan se mudó a Estados Unidos junto con su madre y su hermana. Como el destino lo tenia preprado, llevaría a Ivan a conocer al amor de su vida, Holly Christine Sparks, mientras bailaba salsa en Newport, Kentucky. El 13 de Febrero de 2009, la pareja se casó. Tuvieron tres hijos propios que los lleno de alegria. Un padre maravilloso que haría cualquier cosa por su familia.

Ivan tenía pasión por la música sin importar el género. Le encantaba compartir y hablar de música con sus amigos a los que llamaba hermanos, en especial Jorge (koki) Monge, José (Pito) Giacomotti y Alejandro (Ale) Delgado. Viajar de regreso a su tierra natal también ocupaba un lugar especial en su corazón para visitar a su familia y amigos a quienes amaba profundamente.

Ivan será amado y apreciado por siempre por todos los que lo conocieron. Físicamente su cuerpo nos dejó, pero su alma y corazón siempre estarán presentes en todos los que lo amamos.

El velorio será el viernes 5 de agosto de 2022 de 5:00 pm. a 7:00 pm en Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040

Tambien habra un velorio sabado 6 de Agosto de 2022 a las 10:00 am en la Iglesia Católica St. Maximilian Kolbe (ÚNASE AQUÍ PARA LA TRANSMISIÓN EN VIVO) , 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, Ohio 45011, seguido por una misa de cuerpo presente a las 11:00 am en la misma iglesia.
