Jack R. Gandee

Jack R. Gandee, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born February 28, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Monroe “Grady” and Gladys (nee Kenney) Gandee.

Jack served in the United States Army as a paratrooper with the 101 ^st Airborne Division in Vietnam. Prior to retirement, Jack was a mechanical engineering designer.

Jack always enjoyed being outdoors whether it was planting or caring for trees in the yard or sitting on the picnic table. He had a talent for restoring muscle cars with a favorite being the Chevelle

Jack was preceded in death by: parents, Grady and Gladys Gandee; and daughter Jackie Gandee.

Jack is survived by: wife of 50 years, Emily (nee Schmahl) Gandee; daughter Janelle (Derrick Reiss) Ruch; son, Justin (Amber) Gandee; grandchildren, Brian Ruch, Jack Ruch, Brooke Reiss, Alex Reiss, Hunter Gandee, Colin Gandee, Emma Gandee, and Hailey Gandee; siblings, Bill Gandee, Dianna Gandee, Juanell Gandee, and Linda (Larry) Workman; brothers-in-law, Frank (Renee) Schmahl and Paul (Debbie) Schmahl; and many loving family members and friends.

Jack will be forever cherished by those that love him.

Visitation (2p) and memorial service (3p) will be Friday, May 19, 2023, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7701 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236.
