James "Hippie Jim" Carson

James Carson "Hippie Jim", passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the age of 75. He was born Thursday, February 24, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Howard and Helen (nee Farley) Carson.

A veteran of the United States Airforce, Jim served during the Vietnam War. He was proud of his service and displayed the American Flag every chance he had. Starting out with a 1200 Sportster, Jim eventually upgraded to the Tri-Glide Ultra. Whether a country road or a trip to Sturgis, he loved to ride especially when Michele rode with him.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pamela Carson

Jim is survived by: his wife, Michele (nee Hall) Pfaff-Carson; children, Michael Pfaff, Jamison Pfaff and Wesley Halsey; grandchildren, Eunice and Astrid Halsey; brother, Robert (Louetta) Carson; sister, Sandy Reed; special niece, Shawna Inman; and many family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A time to reflect and share memories about Jim will begin at 1:00 PM so be sure to bring your favorite stories! Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, OH with Military Honors.
