James Earl Frye, Jr., of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the young age of 59.  He was born Saturday, February 23, 1963 in Richmond, Kentucky to James Earl and Marilyn (nee Howard) Frye, Sr.

An avid outdoorsman, James loved discovering nature's gifts. He was quite the rock hound collecting and gifting some of the most unique rocks. A simple man that enjoyed learning about history and watching old movies. Jim took great pride in being a dedicated dad and grandpa. Being a grandfather was his greatest joy. He held himself to a high standard when it came to his career in concrete finishing, never leaving a job until it was perfect.  James will be forever loved and cherished by all that knew him.

James was greeted in Heaven by: paternal grandparents, Luther and Gertrude Frye; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Lucy Howard; and step-son, Eric Harris.

James leaves to cherish his memory: Loving parents, James and Marilyn Frye; daughter, Haley (Julian) Cianciolo; grandchildren, Indi Cianciolo and Luca Cianciolo; sister, Sonja (Dave) Yates; nieces and nephews, Alex Yates, Hannah Yates, Rachel Yates, and Chris Yates; dearest friend, Lisa Takacs; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM until time of the Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.

In lieu of donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, friend or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour or a day. Time waits for no one.
