J. 'Pug' Lyndon Johnson

J. Lyndon "Pug" Johnson, of Montgomery, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Bethesda North Hospital at the age of 77. He was born Friday, February 20, 1942 in Lancaster, Ohio to James E. and Della (nee George) Johnson.

Lyndon was a mortgage broker for many years, but his true passion was educating others about Christ. In 1976, he founded God's Property, Inc., a way to minister to prisons and missionaries, to help churches financially and to grow within their community.

Lyndon also enjoyed playing golf, softball, and going fishing. He was an avid fan of Ohio State University. He will forever be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Lyndon was preceded in death by: parents, James and Della Johnson; and brothers, Ed Johnson and Gary Johnson.

Lyndon is survived by: wife, Sue (nee Parson) Johnson of 57 years; children, Mark (Linda) Johnson and Jodi (Jeff) Brutvan; grandchildren, Brooke (Adam) Knott, Luke Johnson, Catie Brutvan, Emily Brutvan, Maddie Brutvan and JJ Brutvan; sister, Karen (Bill) Anderson; and several nieces and nephews who affectionately called him Uncle Pug.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Hope Church, 4934 Western Row Rd, Mason, OH 45040. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM at the Church. Visitation, Service and interment will be at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 1596 George Road NE, Lancaster, OH 43130 beginning at 4:00 PM.
