On Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, James Allen Kinderman passed away at the age of 63. Jim was born on November 21, 1959. He attended Forest Park High School where he met his beloved wife, Sharon. They were happily married for 38 years. He celebrated his 38th work anniversary at Kloeckner Metals. Jim was an amazing man who loved God, his wife, family, and friends. He was very involved in his church and enjoyed spending any spare time with his loved ones.
Jim's presence would immediately light up a room. He organically gained new friends as he openly engaged "young men" and "young ladies" he did not know. His kindness was contagious. He was passionate about serving others as he expressed his love for Jesus through service. Some examples include: his moving ministry, worship, being a regular blood donor, driving for the Lakota East marching band, driving coaches and players for the ATP tennis tournament and singing in the Hope Church Choir. In all cases, he developed relationships by loving and serving others. This man was all-in on fun as he played drums or congas, wore shorts year-round, and loved to go boating. He also enjoyed playing competitive sports like softball, corn hole, volleyball, and disc golf. Jim was also known for swimming any time of year with cold water only being a challenge, not an obstacle.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his mother, Myrna Reiber; sons Blake, Joshua, and Caleb; their wives Marianne, Hannah, and Brook; grandchildren Levi, Emma, and new baby Grace; siblings Debra, Kenneth, Michael, Kathryn and Patrick as well an innumerable host of other relatives and friends that he treated like family.
He is preceded by Grandma Wilson, Grandma and Grandpa Kinderman, William Griffin Sr., Jeanette Griffin, Cindy Griffin and many other beloved family and friends.
