James Barton Neal

James Barton Neal, 89 of Cincinnati, passed away on January 27, 2024. Born to Ray and Irene (nee Schaffer) Neal on June 16, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Jim was a Cincinnati native growing up on the east end of town. He enjoyed every aspect of the city from its sports teams to its burger joints. He worked and retired after 42 years from Cincinnati Milacron.

He was an outdoorsman who took time to appreciate the nature parks around the city. He loved to go outside for a walk. He was sweet, kind and a caring man who will be missed by many.

Jim and Gerry were married 62 years. He was devoted and faithful husband and a wonderful father.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gerry (nee Mitchell) Neal, and his children, Thomas Neal and Michelle Stenger.

Jim is survived by his two sons, Michael Neal and Rick (Kristen) Neal, five grandchildren, Julie (Aaron) Keeney, Mitch Neal, Nicole Stenger, Jeremy Stenger, and Brandy (Daryl) Schweitzer, six great grandchildren and his brother, Bob (Marlene) Neal.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cincinnati Nature Center.
