Janet M. Jeffers

Janet M. Jeffers (nee McFeeters), age 77, of Mason, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at UC West Chester Hospital. Janet was born December 9, 1944 in Decatur, Illinois to Lyle and Helen (nee Royse) McFeeters.

Janet was a loving, serving, dedicated daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. A true lady and great leader Janet spent many years working in industries that served the elderly and developmentally disabled. She was also involved with many volunteer roles in community services and scholarship boards. A lover of the outdoors, she spent as much time as she could on the covered back deck or in the yard enjoying "our little slice of heaven on earth" with her family and friends, and took delight in the companionship of her beloved terrier, Dooley. Family time and traditions were important to her and supporting her grandchildren in their activities was one of her favorite things to do.

Janet was preceded in death by: her parents, Lyle and Helen McFeeters; Daughter, Jennifer Lynn Jeffers; sister, Ruth Eastham; and brother, John (Susie) McFeeters.

Janet is survived by: husband, Larry: children, Dan (Beth) Jeffers, Mark (Emily) Jeffers; grandchildren, Ethan (Bailee) Jeffers, Ben Jeffers, and Sam Jeffers; and sister, Barb (Ken) Gruhl

Visitation will be held, Saturday, July 9, 2022 2:00 - 4:00 p.m at Monroe Church of the Nazarene, 400 Macready Avenue, Monroe, Ohio, 45050. Private funeral service will follow at 4:00.
