Janet Lindsey

Janet Fay Lindsey (nee Stacey), of Mason, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born in Morgan, Kentucky to Orville and Juanita Stacey (nee Chester) on Tuesday, May 18, 1943.

Janet grew up in Kentucky; later moved to Bethel, Ohio to raise her family. She dedicated 35 years of her life to working in the banking world. She had an amazing sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.

Janet was an avid crocheter who could often be found with a crochet hook in hand, and a ball of thread nearby. She devoted many hours to making intricate snowflake ornaments for her family and friends, crocheting hundreds of them to give to others.

On every special occasion Janet would bake a cake, pouring her love for her family into everything she made. Family meant the world to her.

She enjoyed reading the Reader's Digest stories and loved The Bengals and Elvis dearly. She shared this love with her son, Brad, as they enjoyed football games and ate takeout every week during football season.

Janet was a selfless woman who held a deep love for her family.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edgar Lindsey, her parents, Orville and Juanita Stacey (nee Chester), siblings, Carol Taylor and Nelda Richey, as well as her best friend, Betty Centers.

Janet is survived by her sons, Brad (Nicole Geier) Lindsey and Greg Lindsey, her five grandchildren, Dylan and Missy Behymer (nee Lindsey) and Luke, Brooke and Shelby Lindsey, and three great grandchildren.
