Janet Marie Pemper

Janet Marie (nee DeBoth) Pemper, 91 of West Chester, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022. Born to Alfred and Anna (nee Stadler) DeBoth on August 12, 1930, in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Janet worked at the DuPage Trust Company as a teller and bank officer for many years. She enjoyed spending her time with family during their holiday visits and trips to Pennsylvania where she lived a greater portion of her life. She was a sports enthusiast who always cheered for the PA sports teams, but also for the Green Bay Packers, the Chicago Bulls, Blackhawks, and Cubs, and of course, The Ohio State Buckeyes where her three grandsons graduated.

Janet adored all animals and the unconditional love they provided. She enjoyed the great outdoors, hiking and walking the hills in Pennsylvania. But more than anything, she loved being a grandma and great grandma. In her earlier years, she babysat her grandchildren on occasion and now, with a number of great-grandchildren, she has enjoyed holding them as babies and watching them grow through the years. How proud she was of them all!

Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Anna DeBoth, her husband, Clifford Pemper, son, Michael Pemper, great granddaughter, Iris Wolf, and siblings, James DeBoth, Doris Mulvanny and Carol Schwartz.

Janet is survived by her two daughters, Mary (Peter) Wolf and Susan (James) Gallagher, five grandchildren, Brian (Melissa) Wolf, Christopher (Stefanie) Wolf, Matthew (Emily) Wolf, Michael Gallagher, and Jack Gallagher, six great grandchildren, Gavin, Kaitlyn, Noah, Anna, Henry, Robin Wolf, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 12th at 11:00AM at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet’s name to St Vincent DePaul, St. Susanna Conference.
