Janina Wytrwal

Janina Wytrwal, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born Monday, July 12, 1937 in Samocice, Poland. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.

Janina married the love of her life, Zygmunt Wytrwal, on Saturday, October 28, 1962. The couple was blessed with a son, Mariusz, and a daughter, Bernadette.

Janina immigrated from Poland in 1976 and believed in the American Dream. She was proud to be an American and had a deep love for this country.

Janina enjoyed life and made the best of every day with a smile on her face. Born with a green thumb, family and friends were envious of her colorful flower gardens. She loved to travel with multiple beaches reaching "favorite destination" status. Passionate about her religion, Janina would read anything regarding the Catholic faith. She was a devout catholic belonging to Saint Peter and Paul parish of Three Rivers, Massachusetts until moving to Ohio and belonging to Saint Susanna's in Mason Ohio. But her cooking.....if you had it, you know it was the best. Her homemade creations ranged from pierogi (it's all in the dough) to desserts to wine.

Janina was preceded in death by: mother, Veronika Kloczkowski; and sister, Irena Lewandoski.

Janina is survived by: husband, Zygmunt Wytrwal; children, Mariusz (Barbara) Wytrwal and Bernadette Bowen; grandchildren, Priscilla Wytrwal, Patricia (Abel Collins) Wytrwal-Collins, Pauline Wytrwal, Blair Bowen, and Angelina Bowen; great-grandchildren, Emmett and Evelyn Wytrwal-Collins; and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 30, 2022, 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at the Church.

Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Three Rivers, Massachusetts.
