Jann Ellen Thompson

Jann Ellen Thompson (nee Miller), of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the young age of 67.  She was born Friday, February 4, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

On her twenty-second birthday, Friday, February 4, 1977, Jann married her best-friend and soulmate, Michael K. Thompson.  The couple provided a home that was filled with laughter and joy to all that entered. The stuffed shells she would make every year at Christmas were relished by those she loved.  Jann enjoyed being outdoors and spent many weekends at Shady Rest Campground with family and friends.  She even ventured into bike riding for a short time providing many stories for the family to share years later.  Keeping her mind busy, Jann enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles.  An avid reader, Jann's greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Jann was preceded in death by: father, Walter Miller; and mother, Ruth Miller Galassini (nee Maisch).

Jann is survived by: husband of 45 years, Michael Thompson; sons, Michael K. Thompson, II and Joseph (Jody) Thompson; daughter-in-law, Tara Thompson; grandchildren, Charlotte Thompson, Dylan Thompson, Tysen Thompson, and Treyden Thompson; brother, Doug (Sharon) Miller; sister, Lynn (Ron) Lindhorst; and many loving family members and friends.
