Jeanette "Jan" Dick Brooks

Jeanette "Jan" Dick Brooks, of West Chester and Montgomery, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Otterbein of Lebanon. She was born Sunday, January 29, 1939 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Walter Lee and Eullalee (nee Jennings) Werts.

As the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Montgomery, Jan was great with numbers. With an outgoing personality, her smile lit up a room when she walked in. One of Jan's favorite hobbies was shopping and she loved when she could add to her collection of Elvis items.

Jan is survived by: daughter, Kim (Gary Knue) Dick Burnett; son, Jeff (Melinda) Dickson; grandchildren, Ryan Salyers, Randy Salyers, Alex Burnett, Braden Dickson, Brett Dickson, Brooke Dickson, Briley Dickson, and Breanne Dickson; great-grandson, Parker Salyers; sister, Debi Werts; many friends including her best-friend, Darlene (Dean) Vincent; and her cherished dog, Precious.

Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM, at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
