Jeannine Cribbs

Jeannine Carol (nee Armel) Cribbs, 89 of Loveland, passed away on May 10, 2022, with her family by her side. Born to William H. Armel II and Opal Edith (nee Myers) Armel on November 24, 1932, in Mt Pleasant, Pennsylvania.

Jeannine worked as a secretary in a church office for many years. She and her husband Gordon stayed very active within their local church, First Baptist of Mt Healthy.

One of Jeannine’s favorite things to do was write letters and send cards to the elderly or shut ins.

Jeannine was a faithful friend. She and Gordon stayed close to a group of friends that traveled and ate dinner together every Friday night for 25 years. After dinner they took turns hosting coffee and dessert at each other’s homes.

She was a kind, energetic and caring woman. Jeannine was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Opal Armel, her husband, Gordon Cribbs and sister, Dee Harbaugh.

She is survived by her four loving children, Lorraine (Neil) Evans, Lyle (Michelle) Cribbs, Douglas (Amy) Cribbs and Dwight Cribbs, six grandchildren, Cameron (Tyler), Mitchell (Allie), Madison (Nick), Olivia, Ben and Parker, and one brother, William H. Armel III.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Landmark Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jeannine’s name to First Baptist Church of Mt Healthy or to the Freestore Foodbank.
