Jeffrey S. Darrah

Jeffrey S. Darrah, 52, resident of Mason, OH passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 14, 2019. Jeff was the adored husband of Nancy (nee May) for over 26 years. Devoted father of Katie, Rachel, Amanda and Zachary, beloved son of Betty and the late Donald Darrah, dear brother of Brian (Elizabeth) Darrah, loving son-in-law of John and Mary May, also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jeff was dedicated to his wife, kids and family. He was coach of every sports team the kids were on, and he taught Sunday School and led small groups for many years. He was the handyman around the house with constant projects and yard work, and he loved working on the family dairy farm. He enjoyed playing golf, hiking in the woods, reading and relaxing on the beach. He turned every occasion into a celebration.

Jeff graduated from Virginia Tech in 1988 with a degree in Civil Engineering and worked as a Professional Engineer, currently with Great Lakes Construction Company. He was on the executive board and scholarship committee for the company. He was involved in Ohio Contractor’s Association and served on the Deerfield Township Zoning Commission and Stormwater Board.

He was everything to his family, and his impact on many lives cannot be captured in words. He will be missed.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2:30 PM at Grace Chapel Church, 406 4th Avenue, Mason, OH 45040 on Saturday, March 23, 2019
