Jerry Alan Lishness

Jerry Alan Lishness, age 84, passed away peacefully on the evening of March 8, 2024 at The Lodge in Loveland, Ohio.  He was born to the late Macalan and Charlotte (Knost) Lishness on September 18, 1939 in New Bremen, Ohio.  Jerry graduated from Buckland High School, class of 1957 and later went on to work in the construction industry.  He began his career in construction with Peterson Construction Company of Wapakoneta, Ohio. Following his work in Ohio, he moved to Florida and worked for Doug Wilson Construction Company.  The work in Florida included construction projects building many churches and working on the terminals for Port Canaveral and Disney Cruise Lines. He is survived by his children Susan (Jim) Guckert, Todd Lishness, Troy (Lorene) Lishness; grandchildren Ashley (Jeremy) Kester, Alex (Sarah) Guckert, Allisa (Josh) Place, Chad Lishness, Sarah (Dave) Irwin, Tera (Trevor) Thompson; 11 great grandchildren and a sister Charlene (Ned) Vogel.  Private family arrangements are in the care of Mueller Funeral Home.
