Jianyong Zhu "Jay", of Mason, Ohio, passed away January 2, 2022 at the age of 48. He was born March 11, 1973 in Zhenjiang, China.

Jianyong came to USA in year 2000 and obtained master degree of science at Indiana University of Bloomington in June 2005. He then enjoyed his career as an IT Engineer. He began working for Symyx Technology right after graduation. Sixteen years and several company name changes later, Jay continued to take pride in his work for Dassault System. Running came natural to Jianyong completing five marathons including New York, Chicago, and Berlin, and many half-marathons. Jay enjoyed to travel within US and internationally, drinking fine tea, and wine tasting but most important to him was his daughters. He loved nothing more than to support their dreams and ambitions. Jianyong is known as a caring and joyful person and is always willing to help his friends and Chinese community.

Jay is survived by: wife, Ping Sun; daughters, Iris and Helena Zhu; parents, Xiushan Zhu and Zhijie Jiang; and brother, Jianwei Zhu.

Visitation will be Friday, January 7, 2021 from 3:00 PM until the Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Face Masks will be REQUIRED while at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, if desired, may be directed to an EDUCATION FUND FOR IRIS AND HELENA.
