1926 - 2023

Jo Ann Anderson, 97, of Mason, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 6, 2023.  Jo Ann was born on January 30, 1926, in Lexington, Kentucky to Aurbon and Maudie Lamb.

Devoted wife of the late Ivan Eugene Anderson. Jo Ann was the older sister to Hattie Marshall, the late Nancy Gantzer and Aurbon Lamb.  Mother of Larry (the late Wanda) Anderson, David (the late Mary) Anderson, Carol (Charlie) Comer, and Ricke (Brenda) Anderson. Grandmother of Scott (Julie) Anderson, Steve (Rachel) Anderson, Kristina (Rob) Goedde, Mike Anderson, Bo (Kendra) Comer, Sarah (Scott) Doles, Rick (Amy) Anderson, Dave (Brittany) Anderson, Bob (Wendy) Anderson, Christopher (Michelle) Anderson, Tiffany (Scott) Winkler, and 24 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Jo Ann worked for the Sycamore School District. She cooked, served and delivered lunches to all the schools in the district.  She owned her own ceramic shop in her home and taught ceramic classes at the Christian Village at Mason for many years.  She was a member of Christ’s Church in Mason. For many years she worked at the Christian Preschool, making sure the children had something to eat before going to school and getting them on the bus.  She also enjoyed traveling with the Evergreen Ministry.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10 ^th from 10:30am-12noon with a service at 12noon all at Christian Village at Mason, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Blue Ash, Ohio.
