Joan Vanover

Joan Caroline (nee Neuhaus) Vanover, 81 of Mason, passed away on July 9, 2022. Born to Earl and Clara (nee Joseph) Neuhaus on January 13, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Joan had a love for travel, the warmer the weather the better. White sandy beaches and her family by her side made traveling special for her. Some of Joan’s favorite spots to vacation with her husband was Vegas, California, and the Bahamas.

She was outgoing and loved by everyone who knew her including her community. Joan cherished family, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all.

Preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Clara Neuhaus, son, Daniel Vanover, brother, Danny Neuhaus and sister, Cheryl Herron.

Joan is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roscoe Vanover, two sons, Mark (Cheri) Vanover and Gerald (Antonio Reyes) Vanover, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Vanover, four grandchildren, Brett (fiancé Tia) Vanover, Katie (Josh) Dooley, Samantha Vanover and Ashley Vanover, one great granddaughter, Emma Dooley and two nephews, James Herron (Jennifer) and Shawn Neuhaus (Elisa) as well as numerous grand nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13th from 12:00-1:00pm with a funeral service at 1:00pm all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. Memorial donations may be made in Joan’s name to the American Heart Association.
