Joann M. Lickdyke

Joann M. Lickdyke (nee Huelsman), of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, March 29, 2019 of Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash, Ohio. She was born Saturday, October 8, 1938 in Norwood, Ohio to Robert and Ruth (nee Wermus) Huelsman. Married to her best-friend for 56 years, Joann loved nothing better than being a wife, mother and grandmother. Family was certainly the most important facet of life and she continued a strong bond with her brothers and sisters even into adulthood. Having a function or holiday that brought the family together also brought a huge smile to her face. A social butterfly, Joann looked forward to lunch dates with her friends, some of which she has known since high school. Joann was preceded in death by: parents, Robert and Ruth Huelsman. Joann is survived by: her husband, Bob A. Lickdyke; sons, Dave (Elizabeth) Lickdyke and Stephen (Tracy) Lickdyke; granddaughters, Jessica Lickdyke and Chloe Lickdyke; siblings, Jerry Huelsman, Bob Huelsman, Janie Breitung and Diane Polce; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:30 AM at St. Susanna with Father Eric Roush presiding. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
