John "Jack" Francis Brady

John ‘Jack’ Francis Brady, 89 of Mason, Ohio and formerly of Wood Dale, Illinois, passed away on March 6, 2024. Born to Patrick and Elizabeth (nee Kiely) Brady on September 14, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois.

Jack was a proud veteran in the United States Army and a graduate of the University of Illinois in 1962. He went on to work for mechanical engineering and design firms, Victor-Dana, Western Acadia and retired after 24 years at Fel-Pro Gaskets.

He was a kind man with a caring heart, and a great sense of humor. Jack had a love of nature and took time to tour the United States by car with his beloved wife, Ginny.

Jack spent a great portion of his life racing cars throughout the Midwest. As his family grew, he even involved the kids in his weekend road trips to race.

Preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Elizabeth Brady and his sister, Kay Zondlo.

Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia ‘Ginny’ Brady, children, Kathleen (David) Bryan, Kevin (Cyndi) Brady and Colin (Melissa) Brady, fifteen grandchildren, Evan (fiancé Patricia), Connor (Maddie), Dylan (Emma), Rachel (Jonathan), Emily, Jonah, Sam, Nate, Anna Livia, Grace, Lucy (fiancé Hien), Julia, Ava, Georgia, and Jack, sister, Peggy (Ralph) Ross and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, March 18th at 11:00AM at St Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040. A private inurnment in Dayton National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
