John Lawrence Daman , 82, of Middletown, Ohio, went home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, January 27, 2023.

He was born in Rochester, Pa, a son of the late L. Melvin and Phyllis Stidham Daman.

He was a strong man of faith whose proudest accomplishment was his family.

Surviving are his brother and sister in law, Melvin and Gaye Daman, brother and sister in law, Tom and Judy Daman, brother Dale Daman, brother and sister in law, Richard and Kathi Daman, brother and sister in law, Mark and Val Daman, brother and sister in law, Bill and Kim Daman, brother and sister in law, Karl and Jill Daman and sister Elaine Sarver.

His children; daughter and son in law, Phyllis and Shelby Tydings; daughter and son in law, Virginia and Robert Recker; daughter and son in law, Johanna and Matt Oliver; daughter Valerie Reeves; son and daughter in law, John II and Jessica Daman; son David Daman; daughter Marsha Daman; son and daughter in law Kurt and Mary Daman; son and daughter in law, Russell and Tiffany Daman; daughter Candice Brady.

Twenty four grandchildren; Nichole Bailey, Christopher, Andrew and Madalyn Recker, Martha and Bridget Tydings, Derek Brooks, Jillian and William Reeves, Sage and Wayne Daman, Angell Gardner, George Rubinstein, Chloe and Cody Daman, Lilandra, Thaliden, Deirdre, Remy, Aoife, Cormyr and Lockryn Daman, Silas Brady and Cullen Daman.

Three great grandchildren Jaxon Weitz, Oryn and Iylah Naehring;

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Hardway Daman, sister, Myrna Flenner, brother, Ronald Daman and sister in law Kathy Daman.

Friends will be received Wednesday, February 1 from 3-4:30 pm at the Mueller Funeral Home 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040 where prayer service and reception will immediately follow. Interment will be at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, Ohio 45428 on Thursday, February 2 at 10 am.
