John Evans

John Mark Evans, 62 of Maineville, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Born to William and Georgia (nee Anthony) Evans on September 30, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

John was a 1975 graduate of Finneytown High School, a 1984 graduate of University of Cincinnati’s Paramedic Program and in 1991 John earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati College of Business, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He has worked for the past 25 years for Anthem as a Project Manager.

John had a love for traveling, beach vacations, hiking, reading, and watching soccer. He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa and will be missed by many.

Preceded in death by his parents, William and Georgia Evans.

John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janice (nee Hummel) Evans, two children, Mark Evans and Megan (Chase) Tucker, one grandson, Roman Tucker and one brother, Bill (Debbie) Evans.

A private ceremony will be held at the family’s convenience. Memorial donations may be made in John’s name to the American Kidney Fund at www.kidneyfund.org.
