John Everett Strunk

John was surrounded by his family when he passed September 16, 2022 at age 76.

John was adopted by Herman and Edna Strunk at age 2. His parents preceded him in death.

Married to Mary Ellen Strunk (nee Krimpelman) since June 11, 1982. He had 3 children: Michelle (Missy) Head (Doyle - deceased), John (Mikie) Strunk (Olga) and Jason Prall (Jennifer). He had 6 grandchildren: Kaitlyn Wildridge (Paul), Anthony Prall (Mackenzie), Alyssa Cagle (Paxton), Mackensie Donahoe, Payton Strunk, and Matthew Prall. He had 4 great grandchildren: Aleah and Sutton Wildridge and Reagan and Kaleb Prall.

John served in the Army National Guard. He was a welder by trade for 40 years. John enjoyed working on his numerous cars, riding his motorcycle, and gardening. He liked spending time with family as well. John was awarded a Commendation from President Nixon in May 1970 for saving the life of Donnie Walker in March 1970.

Visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment will immediately follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park with Military Honors.
