John T. 'Jack' Toomb, 23, of Mason, OH passed away unexpectedly, as a result of what appears to be of natural causes, on Monday, March 16, 2020. Jack was born in Cincinnati, OH to Robert and Laura Toomb.

Jack is the loving son of Rob and Laura (nee Gillespie) Toomb, beloved brother of Megan, Kate and Claire Toomb, dearest grandson of Joan and the late Tom Gillespie and the late Mary and John Toomb, nephew of Steve (Lisa) Gillespie, Kevin (Sarah) Gillespie, Jim (Susan) Gillespie, Kevin Toomb, Marty (Peggy) Toomb and Kathleen (Woody) Oakes, also survived by many cousins and friends.

Jack grew up in Mason and attended St. Susanna Grade School followed by Moeller High School. He played football and Lacrosse at Moeller and was a Trinity House Captain and School Vice President. Jack signed with Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh to continue his Lacrosse career in Division I sports. At RMU, he won two NEC Championships and was a three year all-conference team player. Jack was an avid Bengals and Reds fan and enjoyed watching college football. If you knew Jack, you knew he never met a stranger and was always happy. He had an infectious smile and a great positive attitude on life. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him. One of the things his family will miss most is his ability to make them laugh so easily- especially with his impersonations.

Visitation at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 11:30 AM until 2:30 PM. For immediate family ONLY, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Susanna Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason. Private burial.
