Josephine Mccomas

Josephine K. McComas (nee Monce), 98 of Middletown, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Born to Tony and Katherine (nee Bergan) Monce on May 2, 1922 in Monroe, Ohio.

Josephine worked for 30 years at Deerfield Manufacturing in the payroll and bookkeeping department. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her friends playing cards. Josephine was an active volunteer at Otterbein, the Salvation Army and St Joes.

Preceded in death by her parents Tony and Katherine Monce, her husband, Robert ‘Bob’ McComas and several siblings.

Josephine is survived by her three children, Patricia Rhinehiemer, George Dorcheff and Joseph Dorcheff and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10:00AM in Rose Hill Cemetery, 171 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Memorial donations can be made in Josephine’s name to the Salvation Army. Masks will be REQUIRED and we will be following social distancing guidelines.
