Joyce L Rogers

Joyce L. Rogers (nee Spence), of Middletown, Ohio, passed away peacefully August 13, 2023 at the age of 88.  She was born January 20, 1935 in Middletown, Ohio to Foy and Edna (nee Harp) Spence.

Joyce enjoyed sports with her number one teams being the Cincinnati Reds and the University of Kentucky WildCats.  If she couldn't be at the game, she was definitely watching it on TV or listening on the radio.  She enjoyed being outdoors working in her garden or on the water fishing.  With her family at the top of her priority list, Joyce loved cooking comfort food for those she loved.

Joyce was preceded in death by: husbands, Donald Ray Johnson and Ray Rogers; and son, James Johnson.

Joyce is survived by: son, Robert (Carol) Johnson; grandchildren, Jade Johnson, Erica Johnson, Matthew (Ashley) Johnson, and Christopher Johnson; great-grandchildren  Madison, Braylen, Bryce, Phoenix, Logan, Rylan, Deven, and Rinley; and other loving family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Lamar Ferrell officiating at Woodside Cemetery.
