The services will be live-streamed for all who are unable to attend in person at this Link or by visiting St Xavier Church and scrolling down to the Live Stream link.

Julie was a devoted wife, loving mother, devout Catholic, inspirational Mary Kay Senior Sales Director, a natural leader & teacher, and a loving friend to all that she met.

Julie was the youngest daughter of a Vincent and Clara Pearson and the sister of her life long best friend Doris Green. While they were 14 years apart and often lived in different cities their hearts were always near and they spoke daily to reminisce about memories, overcome hardships, and share laughs and love. Julie adored her sister and her sisters children and was a wonderful aunt to the Green and later Studer nieces and nephews all of whom she loved so much.

Julie understood the value of education and after attending Hopkins Grade School, Woodrow Jr High, And central High School in Sioux City, she set out to earn a degree in education from Morningside College and was then persuaded to finish her education alongside the love of her life John Studer at Iowa State University. The couple met over the summer of 1968 at the Sioux City Town Hall where she worked and quickly began one of histories great true love stories. They were married 2 summers later on June 6th, 1970 and would live to see 51 years of marriage together!

Julie began her career brightening the young minds of first and second graders but truly found her calling in life teaching women how to see their own beauty and the beauty in others over a 35+ year career with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Julie’s favorite phrase was to walk up to a new person and say, “Do you know how beautiful you are?” And she inspired hundreds of other consultants on her team as she eventually achieved the prestigious title of Mary Kay National Senior

Sales Director, earning a custom built Pink Cadillac and multiple accolades directly from the founder Mary Kay Ash.

While she inspired beauty and confidence around the country, and never left the house without her make up on, Julie’s greatest working role was as an amazing mother to Eimee & Tres. She was her children’s biggest fan and showered them with love and support while cheering them on at all of their various activities. She did an incredible job of balancing a full time sales job while still always being there for everything her children could possibly need. This devotion extended onto her many nieces & nephews, and great nieces & nephews and god children who she loved. Her final devotion was to her 5 grandchildren Jack, Cate, Ruby, Grace, & Tory who she absolutely adored and showered with her love. She was at every grandparents day, dance recital, and sport she could possibly attended and those children grew so much amidst the light of her love.

While Julie struggled with Parkinson’s Disease for over 20 years, her biggest challenge would be learning how to navigate the world without her soulmate after John prematurely left this world after a 10+ year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She used that same vivacious and enchanting energy to be an active leader in her community and leaned on her friends, caretakers, sister, children, & living guardian  angel to carry her through until reuniting in Heaven just in time to celebrate her 54th wedding anniversary with John.

The family is so grateful for the incredible outpouring of love, prayers, and kindness from those who loved mom and her children and know that she is smiling down on all of us from heaven. Julie loved the frequent surprise of flowers John would adorn her with, and would love her celebration to be surrounded in that same beauty. Flowers can be sent directly to Mueller Funeral home by Tuesday 6/11 or In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis Xavier Church.
