Julie Ann Teegarden, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the young age of 54.  She was born Thursday, October 9, 1969 in Covington, Kentucky to Jack and Wilma A. (nee Simpson) Teegarden.

A graduate of Lakota High School, Julie was a shining light to many.  Her smile could add brightness to any dark day.  Julie had the uncanny ability to make you laugh and see that things will be ok in the end.  The amount of love she poured into caring for others is unmeasurable.  All these gifts that she shared with every person she came into contact with.

Gifted with the ability to see beauty in all things, Julie loved to create art pieces and experimenting with new materials.  Her love of music reached across all genres, but her favorite musicians were her family.  While she was a CPA professionally, her true calling was being a health coach.  She was a true cheerleader and advocate for those trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Julie has left a lasting legacy filled with love, compassion, and understanding.  She will be forever loved and cherished by all who knew her.

Julie was preceded in death by: parents, Jack and Wilma Teegarden; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Joyce Hicks; nieces, Lacy Shay Teegarden and Haley McNeely; and brother-in-law, Daniel W. Hicks.

Julie is survived by: husband, Chris Hicks; children, Zoe (Sid) Hicks, Grace Hicks, John Hicks, and Henrietta Hicks; sister, Connie (Bill Schorr) Tackett; brother, Jack (Tammy) Teegarden; sister-in-law, Lori Hicks; nieces and nephews, Cory (Laura) Tackett, Jack C. (Emma) Teegarden, James Teegarden, Samantha (Joe) Dunaway, Emily (Casey) Hall, and David Hicks; great-nieces and great-nepews, Avah McNeely, Jacklyn Rodgers, Aidan Teegarden, Olivia Mitchell, William Hoppe, Oliver Teegarden, Noah Tackett, Henry Tackett, Felicia Dunaway, Juliana Dunaway, Jackson Dunaway, Mason Hall, Lane Hall, and Virginia Hall; and many loving family members and friends that she loved as family.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Holman officiating.

Flowers are welcomed, especially her favorite Sunflower.  If you would prefer to make a memorial donation, please send directly to the funeral home to help offset the unexpected expenses.
