June Ann (nee Arnold) Holland, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, November 15, 2019 at Hospice of Southwest Ohio. She was born Wednesday, August 14, 1935 in Lockport, New York to Thomas G. and Anna (nee Domski) Arnold.
June was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother and a dedicated homemaker and caretaker. She had a talent for knitting and crocheting, creating heirlooms her family will forever cherish. She enjoyed tennis in her younger adult life and belonged to craft clubs as a way to stay active. June enjoyed reading and writing and described her hobby as a way to escape to other places. Along with her husband, Rodney, June called Vero Beach, FL home for many years. When his health began to decline, they made the decision to move to Christian Village of Mason, where they would be closer to family.
June was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of almost 60 years, Rodney Holland.
June is survived by: her devoted daughter, Anne (Martin) Bruce; grandchildren, Emily Bruce and Caroline Bruce; sister, Joy Prendergast; brother, Tom Arnold; nephews, Neal Prendergast M.D., Patrick Prendergast and Gerry Prendergast; and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 11:00 AM until time of Prayer Service at 12:00 Noon at Christian Village at Mason Chapel, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio 45040, with Fr. Bill Cleves officiating.
Memorial donations may be directed to Christian Village at Mason Benevolent Fund. Please include gift is in memory of June A. Holland.
