Karen Elizabeth Townsend

Karen Elizabeth (nee Weaver) Townsend, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the young age of 64. She was born Monday, February 4, 1957 in Canterbury, Great Britain.

With a constant smile on her face, Karen was a kind gentle spirit. On Saturday, July 19, 1975, she made a life-long promise to her best-friend, Derek J. Townsend. Together, they built a home that was filled with laughter and love. Karen was passionate about being a mom and delighted in being a grandmother. She will be forever cherished by her family and friends.

Karen is survived by: husband, Derek J. Townsend; son, Paul (Brooke) Townsend; daughter, Clare (Dereck) Workman; grandchildren, Leo Townsend, Callum Workman and Jason Workman; father, Colin (Katie) Weaver; mother, Eileen (nee Bubb) Weaver; sisters, Donna (Allan) Greening and Debbie Martin Weaver; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. The State of Ohio REQUIRES face masks/coverings be worn.

Graveside service will be Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Spring Hill Cemetery, Liberty Township.
