Kathleen Marie Daggy

Kathleen Marie Daggy (nee Westermann), 71 of Mason, Ohio passed away on May 29, 2022.

Kathy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Fred and Margie (nee Kopp) Westermann on August 19, 1950.

She graduated from Withrow High School in 1968 and graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1973, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and English and a Bachelor of Education degree in secondary education. In 1975, she graduated from Ball State University with a Master of Arts degree in French and English. For 33 years, she enjoyed teaching high school and taking her students on trips to France.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Daggy of Dallas, Texas, her son, Steven Daggy of Cincinnati, Ohio, her brother, Paul (Cyndee) Westermann of Cincinnati, Ohio, her sister, Ann (Steve) Schwankhaus of Liberty Township, Ohio, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11th from 9:00am-11:00am with a memorial service at 11:00am all at Christ Church of Mason at 5165 Western Row Rd, Mason, OH 45040. Inurnment at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati at a date to be determined.

Memorial donations may be made in Kathy’s name to Queen City Hospice.
