Kathleen R Shumate

Kathleen Rosetta (nee Johnson) Shumate, 81, of Mason, Ohio passed away suddenly on August 5, 2023.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Dewey Shumate, her parents Chester and Flora (nee Dilling) Johnson, her bother Bernard Johnson, and sister Stella (nee Johnson) Arther.

She is survived by her son John (Tammy) Shumate, daughter Bethany (Jeff) Wiles. Loving grandma of Jessica (Eric) Angulo, Amanda Shumate, Jacob and Emma Wiles, and great grandma to Henry and William Angulo.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral at 11:00 AM on August 21, 2023 at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations may to The Alzheimer’s Association or The Heart Association.
