Kenneth “Kenny” Howard, of Aladdin, Wyoming, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his wife and children on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the age of 73.
The youngest of three children, Kenny was born Wednesday, March 23, 1949 to Kenneth and Anna (nee Maddox) Howard in Hamilton, Ohio. As the only son, he grew up working on the farm alongside his father. Kenny graduated from Lakota High School in 1967 and continued to work on the farm.
Kenny married Sandra Arnold in Bethany Church in 1970. The couple had three children, Nicole, Stephanie, and Brad. While Kenny continued to farm, he began a successful career in construction. He looked at projects as challenges, always finding a way to solve the issue and fix the problem. To say he has saved his family and friends a few pennies over the years would be an understatement.
Although Kenny grew up in Butler County, Ohio, he found his true home in the West. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. In 2003, Kenny married Angelika Niessen in Sundance, Wyoming. In his retirement, Kenny found himself farming once again. This time helping friends with their ranches and working cattle drives. Kenny created many close friendships with his willingness to be there for others and help when he could.
Kenny was preceded in death by: parents, Kenneth and Anna Howard; and a nephew, Steve Elliott.
Kenny is survived by: his wife, Angelika; sisters, Sue Miller and Sara Davidson; daughters, Nicole (the late, Ron) Mercer and Stephanie (Michael) Lattire; son, Brad (Debbie) Howard; grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Josh, Kaitlyn, Breanne, Hannah, Shayne, and Ayden; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Layla, Addi, Kyle, Wesley, and Theo; nephew, Scott (Lana) Elliott; nieces, Kathi Ickes, Kelly (Tom) Bute, and Kris (Rocky) Morris; and many loving family members and friends.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM until the Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Family and friends will be encouraged to share their memories of Kenny during the service.
